Tapas Tuesday at Pop Champagne and Dessert Bar
Pop Champagne and Dessert Bar is now open on Tuesdays to serve Tapas! I got a tweet from them announcing the menu, which got Erin and me running over there:

At the waitress' recommendation, I tried the champagne flight.

At $3 dollars a pop, and one freebie with our drink... we ordered one of each of the tapas! Clockwise, starting at the lower left is the mini bacon & mahon grilled cheese sandwhich on brioche, beef skewers with chimichurri sauce, lamb empanada, duck taquito, panko-crusted calamari, and in the center is the chorizo albondigas (meatballs).

Panko-crusted calamari with cocktail sauce. Erin does not eat seafood. At all. These were her favorite food of the evening. That says a lot.

The mini bacon & mahon grilled cheese sandwich on brioche was really yummy. It was grilled cheese though, so fun but not exuberant.

Oh, the chorizo albondigas with cilantro creme fraiche. I could have eaten a dozen. Those were my favorite.

The beef skewers with chimichurri sauce was actually the reason I went to Tapas Tuesday. It just wasn't the reason I stayed.

The duck taquito was fun.

I was not as much into the roasted leg of lam empanada with sweet chili apricot sauce as Erin was. She thought is was great!

Dessert bubblies

Sparkling sake! My new favorite drink with effervescence!

The spanish churros with chocolate sauce was yummy:

But nothing compared to the Nutella Crepes with berries and chantilly cream! (Mouth watering as I type about it!)
