AZ - Day 1: Beer and BonBons
We arrived in Buckeye, the backwoods of the suburbs of Phoenix, around 12:30 in the morning. We barely all had enough time to hug hi and crash. Chris, Danna, and I get up the next morning and head to the airport to pick up Amie. We hit the necessary SBUX (in B&N, which is not happening again... they are not "real SBUX"), and the Chik fil A, for an awesome brunch that we brought back for everyone.

We split in half and head for massages, then meet up for nails at the best nail place Chris and I have found so far. The only problem is there are only three workers there, so even if we call for an appointment for 4 or 6 (and they will book it all for the same time), you simply have to wait until a chair is available. So we stopped making appointments; it wasn't helping. We walked in and there were four people in chairs. We walked back out. Time to get a new nail salon. Luckily for us, there was a bar next door. And a nice bartender who took this photo:

We headed back to the house to get ready for dinner (me- a nap, the girls - Dexter and change of clothes). We managed to break into the dessert before dinner. Erin had made and brought along Princess Birthday Cake Ice Cream, and Danna had premade (and had a few left) nutella balls (bonbons).

Looking guilty?

Yes, I have one in each hand:

Group effort!

Once Jeff made it back from a day at work, we turned him around and drug him out to sushi dinner with six girls. Doesn't he look happy?

Are we all related or what?
